What: Unable to access MySQL services for hSphere accounts
Affects: All customers with hSphere accounts that use MySQL
When: Sat 2/December/2017 08:30am
MySQL services became unavailable this morning on this server.
Support Staff attempted to restart the server remotely but access was not restored.
DataCentre Technicians despatched to site to investigate further. The physical hardware was found to have failed. In this case we believe it is related to the power supply unit, and data is not at risk. However, due to the nature of this hardware, restoration to an alternative is likely to require an extended period of time.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and assure all affected clients that we are working on solving the issue.
